World Radio Day 2023: We are in Mombasa County in preparation for this year’s celebration that will be marked on 13th February, under the theme "Radio and Peace".
Together with the Media Council of Kenya team our Vice Chair Esther Aduma visited the Technical University of Mombasa where acting Vice Chancellor and Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs, Research and Extension Prof Peter Gichangi acknowledged the Commission's role in providing alternatives to media disputes through mediation.
The Vice Chair explained the role of the Commission in mediation of media disputes as alternative to the courts.
“Journalists need to familiarise with and adhere to the Code of Conduct for the Practice of Journalism in Kenya, on which the Commission bases its undertakings”, said Ms Esther Aduma
